Regional Collective helps community groups, associations, & industry bodies get unstuck.

We provide independent consulting and strategic reviews for regional organisations struggling with participation, governance, and direction.

What we actually do.

Regional Collective comes in from the outside. We review your organisation from top to bottom and tell you plainly what's gone wrong and what to do about it. No politics. No agenda. Just an honest assessment and a clear path forward.

A metal gate with chains locked, set against a rural landscape with trees and cloudy sky.

Regional organisations often reach a point where something isn't working and nobody can agree on what. Participation drops. Either projects don't start or good people burn out and leave. Meetings go in circles. Strategy documents gather dust.

Who this is for.

Regional Collective works with industry associations, community groups, agricultural bodies, and volunteer-led organisations across Australia.

If your organisation is dealing with any of the following, we can help.

  • Declining membership or participation.

  • Volunteer fatigue and committee burnout.

  • Values or purpose drift.

  • Governance that's no longer fit for purpose.

  • Funding challenges or organisational uncertainty.

  • Projects that keep stalling despite good intentions.

Our approach:

The Pivot Point

The Participation & Engagement Audit and The Pivot Point framework are the original work of Sarah Secker, built from two decades of lived experience in regional organisations across Australia.

Carry,
Combine
or
Close.

The Pivot Point gives organisations three honest options based on what the evidence actually shows.

It's not a template. It's pattern recognition applied to your specific situation.

Working beyond the audit.

Regional Collective works across the full spectrum of regional complexity, from grassroots community groups to government agencies, industry bodies, and cross-sector initiatives.

Three people standing outdoors on a grassy area, observing something. One woman wearing a denim jacket and sneakers on the left, a man in the middle with sunglasses and a dark shirt, and a man on the right with glasses, a bright yellow jacket, and shorts. In the background, there is a white fence with printed text and illustrations of a cartoon character, and trees with green leaves.

Sarah brings clarity to the space where agriculture, workforce participation, governance, and place-based growth intersect.

That's a complicated space, and most consultants don't live in it. She does.

If you're working on something that doesn't fit neatly into the offers above, an advisory role, a strategic engagement, or a long-term initiative that needs someone who can translate between government and community, get in touch.
