A speaker who actually knows what she's talking about.

Sarah Secker speaks at regional summits, leadership forums, agricultural events, and community gatherings across Australia.

A woman speaking into a microphone at a podium outdoors with trees in the background.

The regional voice in the room.

A woman and a man stand on a grassy area, engaged in conversation. The woman is wearing a denim dress and sneakers, with her hands on her hips. The man is dressed in a bright yellow jacket, black shorts, and beige boots, seen from the back. In the background, there is a fence with signage and trees. The foreground shows a cross-section of earth and soil.

I grew up on a farm in regional South Australia. I've sat on committees, led infrastructure projects, worked alongside government ministers, and spent two decades navigating the gap between what regional communities need and what decision-makers understand.

I speak from that gap. Not from a lectern in a city office. From the paddock, the committee room, and every place in between. I'm media trained, experienced, and I don't waste people's time.

What that looks like in practice.

People holding a large check in front of a vintage green car at an outdoor event. The check is made out to Keith War Memorial Community Centre for $200,000. The sky is cloudy, and there are several people in the background near trees.

In 2023 I led the fundraising and project coordination for the Don Moseley Park playground redevelopment in Keith, South Australia.

Fully funded. $1.1 million. In a town of 1,400 people.

That project is now a case study I speak to regularly. On community-led infrastructure, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and what it actually takes to get something built in a regional town when everyone tells you it can't be done.

What I speak on.

Regional Liveability & Community Infrastructure

How communities build the infrastructure, physical, social, and economic, that makes regions worth staying in. Practical frameworks, real examples, no theory.

Volunteer Engagement & Governance

Why participation is declining, what's actually driving it, and what organisations can do differently. Honest, evidence-based, and built from lived experience on both sides of the table.

Women in Agriculture & Regional Leadership

What it looks like to lead in regional Australia as a woman, in the industry, in the community, and on the farm. Authentic stories, practical insights, and zero sentiment.

Workforce Attraction & Regional Economic Development

How regions compete for people, investment, and the next generation, and what it actually takes to win.

Where I’ve spoken.

“Sarah spoke with real passion about regional development and her belief that strong regions are the foundation of strong countries.

She represented her community with clarity and purpose throughout. She highlighted the importance of empowering women and creating space for others to step up and lead. Her remarks were thoughtful and articulate, with a clear focus on practical outcomes.

What stood out most was her emphasis on action. Sarah spoke about building support, following through, and getting things done, backed by clear examples and a strong vision for the future.”
